Old strings can dull your sound, make playing harder, and even cause tuning instability. For the best tone and feel, restringing every few months (or more often if you play regularly) is recommended. Fresh strings bring out the full character of your guitar and make every note sing. At Guitar Setup & Repair, a restring includes: removing old strings, cleaning and conditioning the fretboard, polishing frets, carefully installing and stretching new strings, checking tuning stability, and giving your guitar a final clean and polish.
